Yep me you need to use Raw Linseed oil on bats as it dries slower

Not sure then mate. Probably get a professional opinion. Then again the simple option is just buying some from an actual cricket shop!

Do not use boiled Linseed oil, RAW only. I repeat, DO NOT USE BOILED LINSEED OIL.

You can pick up a small container of raw from many places, shouldn't cost much more than 3 and will last for a good few bats.

http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;jsessionid=3D0BI5ACXACYKCSTHZOCFFA?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fh_search=linseed+oil

or similar. Your local DIY superstore should have some in.

3 for 500ml, will probably outlast you........

But yes, only use RAW linseed oil. Boiled has extra additives etc which make it unsuitable.
