My top 3 pads, cosmetics anyway, are the Aero P1s or P2s, Gm Original Lite, and then Canterbury's

For comfort, the Newbery SPS this year are astonishing! The new knee groove is perfect and the instep is really well shaped. If I was keen on the appearance of traditional pads and they weighed a bit less I probably would have snapped these up.

Aero P1 have to be the way forward if you can handle the appearance and the shaping of the cavity suits your leg. Ridiculously lightweight with apparently very good protection and anatomically designed to realise the needs of the individual legs, something that no other pads really cater for

Ed - I find that with the bulky Puma gloves you have, they jkeep getting in the way of my pads, traditional Newbery County's - do you notice any difference between the two styles?

Also, Aero's go all they way round your leg, do they not? They sound really good, need to order mine!!!

I didn't like the Aero's at all, just felt wrong on me. Didn't feel padded or as if they were on my legs, they felt as if they were placed in front.

Not really sure on what pads I like the most, probably the Morrant ones.

But the protection is good, right?

Protection is fine, what I mean is that the inside padding didn't feel sufficient.
