No tour in 2009?

Post by Danny on Thu Jan 03, 2008 6:05 pm

The English govournment are in meetings with the ECB about whether the England Cricket team should tour Zimbabwe in 2009. If they decide to call the tour off it will cost the ECB £225,00

Opinions?

Although, Sri lanka isnt such a volatile place as zimbabwe, pakistan etc. The australian called it off, and if that mugabe person is still has his 'regime' they wont tour. and as said before, without life there is no cricket

I reckon the players should decide whether they want to tour not the government because the players are playing the tour not the government! Laughing

I do hate it when politics come into sport. I can see the concerns, but really it should be the ECB's decision to whether they go or not, after all they're the ones paying for it.

I think we should still let this tour go ahead. why make this tour and then say no to it!
