Well Sachin's 100 was phonomenal, once he batted through the hard, early stages of his innings (he got lucky a few times!) then he did superb. I would just like to point out that over 50 of his runs came from singles which means you don't have to score boundary after boundary to score quickly!

I found the comparison of his ODI averages batting first and chasing intriguing.
His average batting first is nearly double that of his chasing!
