Was at Lords today and found myself with a lot of spare time on my hands so i went for a wander into the shops and had a look at the keeping gloves. My Ballistic 3000's still arn't supple and have been breaking them in since before christmas. So first i tried on the Gn nitro's and the were supple strraight away but were to big so i asked the guy in the shop if the had any other gloves that were supple and he told me to try the pair of eastons they had and they were supple and exactly the right ...

I personally think there is a fine line in this... we dont want little Timmy from Under 10's going home crying because Tommy said his mum was fat lol!

I think when we reach U15's we should sledge as long as its not personal!

First Game of the Season

Played my first match of the year today in the biting winds and intermittent showers of early April. I was playing for my academy side vs. a University second team on pre-season tour. The captain lost the toss and we were put in on an erratic astro. I scored a slightly sluggish 54 before being stumped down the leg side losing my balance. We pushed on and thanks to some feeble spin bowling and some frantic running we finished on 267-7 from 45.

The gloves don't need to be great, or used, but around �15 inc pnp

The bat needs to be light, EW, ideal for an opener, he likes both front and back foot shots, so a mid placed middle, max �45 inc pnp
